Story:

The painting represents my Ancestor’s Nygabaya or Spirit People Dreaming. This painting shows the Spirits represented by the 3 figures travelling across country singing stories and healing the people and lands. The river is central in the painting.  The different lands are represented by the varying colours and lines. The Nygabaya or Spirit People are storytellers, educators and creating beings.

The Nygabaya represent strength, spirituality and resilience.
