A Land of Many Colours is a collection of paintings that capture the rhythm, texture, and pulse of the Australian bush — a land alive with contrast and connection. From the deep reds of the desert heart to the lush greens of the tropics, from riverbeds etched with memory to the endless shimmer of sea and sky, each work reflects the living spirit of Country.

As an artist, I am endlessly inspired by the natural patterns of our land — the curves of a river, the flow of sand dunes, the stones scattered across Country that hold stories older than time. Through my Ancestors’ Stone Dreaming, I weave the presence of these sacred stones — symbols of protection, guidance, and healing. They remind us that every part of Country has meaning, energy, and wisdom to share.

Each painting carries its own story — of movement, resilience, and belonging. The stones journey across canvas and Country alike, grounding spirit and connecting generations.

A Land of Many Colours is my tribute to this vast, beautiful land and to the deep relationship we walk with every day — one of respect, strength, and unbroken connection.
